I'm assuming your budget is around $1000, please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways here's what I came up with for now, if you have any questions and/or concerns feel free to ask.
The Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rMjVXL
I pretty much agree with @LinuxForYou's build if you want to go ITX, although I might try and colour code it a bit better (cheese yellow on that GPU, then bright blue on your RAM and Mobo? Eeek, the GPU's a good'un though, I'd change the RAM and mobo to something predominantly black) considering the huge side panel window on the enthoo evolv, and I might go for a WD blue instead of a black as the only differences are that the blues have a shorter warranty (still 3 years though), but are quieter and cheaper (a 1TB 7200RPM WD blue is $53ish, that WD black is $63ish).
Plus, if you're going ITX, a 1x8GB kit of RAM instead of a 2x4GB kit would make more sense to leave room to upgrade to 16GB later on.

if you are looking for gaming + light productivity rig, then i came up with something like this.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YdK9Lk
The Xeon E3-1231-V3 is basicly an i7 without igpu, its not overclockable, But you do get 4 cores 8 Threads, which could be handy if you do some productivity work like rendering or what not.
If you dont realy care about rendering, but only just a bit of photoshop, then you can also put a locked i5 in there, like a 4590 or what not, it will save a couple of dollars.
THe big plus with locked cpu´s is that you can basicly pair them with cheaper H97 boards, since you dont need the overclocking feutures anyway.
Unless you want an option for dual gpu setups, in that case you should go with a decent Z97 board.
If you want overclock aswell, then you basicly should look into the unlocked K cpu´s + Z97 boards.
let me know your thoughts.
thank you all!
i wont be doing any overclocking or dual gpu so ill go or h97
but im not sure about the mini itx though id rather go for full size or micro mobo for upgradability
well how much i personaly like such sweet tiny little mini itx boxes.
i personaly prefer a full sized atx aswell, because of upgrade abillity.
