i know, just keeping the Intel fans happy. I am a AMD fan.
You could buy 3 if not 4.........
Why would you need such power? Dr.Doom over here....
That power supply is most efficent with how much the PC is putting out.
Not just the PSU, but the entire rig.
That i7-3970x build looks DELICIOUS...
Sure you might get 4 AMD systems out of that kind of money, but c'mon... Really? Why would you want to make 4 weaker systems instead of 1 awesome one?
It's like having enough money for A Ferarri 458, but getting 6 Honda Accords instead...
can you explain me why the amd system is weaker in gaming? wenn i just gone look to the base cpu´s
forthe cost of the Ferrari 458 you can buy 2 or 3 highly tuned nissan skyline R34 gtr's and they blow the ferrari away :P this is an offtopic joke ;)
Even though you can game just fine on either an FX 8350 or an i7 3970x, you still can't avoid the fact that the latter is in A completely higher league.
And yes you can tune 2 nissans to be faster, or any other car for that matter... but the fact is, you'd still be driving a car of A lesser class.
But enough, we're not in an automotive forum.
ofc i know a i7 3970x is a better cpu. with better performance. but what i mean to say is, that at the moment games are gonne be optimized for 4 cores, so in that case i think the diffrence, to the price to performance for only gaming isnt worth it. in the future wenn games get optimized for more cores probabley 6, then the AMD fx still will do a fine job, the intel better ofc. im not gonne argu with that, but for gaming, it doesnt make much sense, but if you gonne do more heavy things yes then its a diffrent story :P
AMD FX-8350 = $190.
Intel Core i7 3970X = $1020
yes and in games, there is not much diffrence.
like i said go for the FX8350 pls :)
Ok, I am going AMD all the way, sorry, it is just performance: price ratio.
Go windows 7 though.
