My First Build...Any Suggestions?

This is my first build, so naturally I am probably not getting the best perfoormance for about $1,000. Any suggestions??

CPU: i5 3570k

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77X-UD4H (5 dollars more than the UD3H for a free 8 gb stick of Vengeance, 6 USB 3.0)

Video Card: EVGA Signature 2 660 FTW

RAM: 8 GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 MhZ (Getting another with my motherboard for 16 GB)

CPU Cooler: XIGMATEK Dark Knight Night Hawk Edition

Wifi Card (Because my mom wouldn't let me drill a hole in the floor to run up a wire): TP Link Card

Thermal Compound (Because with good compound, the Dark Knight is almost as good as the h100) Tuniq Thermal Compound

Case: Corsair Carbide 200R

PSU: Fractal Design 750W 80 PLUS Bronze

Storage: 1 TB Seagate Barricuda

OS: Ubuntu 12.10

Total: $1006.90 USD plus shipping

That's a really good build. I can't see much else you can replace the parts with that won't add performance but also keep the pricing down.

There's the MSI N660 TI-2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 660 Ti for the same price right now If you include rebate. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127711

The only thing I can really say is if you look into an AMD CPU, you can get a more hardy GPU but that's a different thing altogether.

I would have to agree, the build is actually quite nice for the price and I would also have to agree about the 660 ti OC version, its actually the card I own and it runs everything ive thrown at it on max settings. The board is a good overclocker too so you should be able to get some extra power out of that processor.

Thanks fellas! Actually my GPU is $240, and I've seen some tests on Youtube. The FTW 660 is so close to a 660 Ti in FPS that I wouldn't be getting good price/performance.

And the Dark Knight went down in price by like 17 dollars, so I am saving money there.
