my dvd/cd drive isnt showing up!!! please help me

Is it visible in device manager or disk management at all?
nope its not
Sounds like it is not connected properly then. Is it an internal or external drive?
I'd check that all the cables are plugged in correctly and if that doesn't help look at trying different cables?
Also can you see if it is getting power at all, any lights on it or is there any sounds coming from it?
