My computer goes black screen and fans rev to max?

I just recently got a new corssair vengeance i8100 gaming pc, and it worked fine for a few days of heavy gaming but now the pc goes black screen randomly, it doesn’t require a heavy load and the fans go max speed, I can still hear audio just fine.

I believe it’s the gpu because when I test it with the built in program I can trigger the crash everytime.

Some notes: I’ve tried updating my drivers and windows and every possible thing I could find to update even downloaded a program to double check for me, I’ve fully reset my pc several times and even bought a external power supply to mitigate possible power flow issues its 1000w supply.

Pc specs: CORSAIR VENGEANCE i8100 Gaming PC: Intel Core i9-13900KS, NVIDIA RTX 4090 “gamerboy”, 64GB DDR5 5600 MTs Memory, 4TB (2x 2TB M.2) NVMe SSD

Lastly this cost 4300$ and shipping was delayed about 3 weeks, i created a ticket but at that price point this is just Fing ridiculous man. Anyone have some suggestions?

Lastly i got a dwm.exe crash report a few times

The sense pins on the 4090 GPU getting disconnected ?

I’ve read this causes the problem you are experiencing.

The only way I know to resolve it is to disconnect and reconnect the GPU Power Connector.

Thank you, ill try that when i get home and update my results.

Any amount of help is massively appreciated, ive been troubleshooting all wekkend with no success.

I think you will find that others have had similar issues in the past, not just on a pre-built but when using a 40 series GPU and the power connector isn’t properly seated.

Well it looks like you’ve solved my issue, word cannot describe how thankful i am. Lost my while weekend trying to figuer this out

No worries, I didn’t get any of the RTX 40 series but this issue was one of those kind of common ones that only occurred when the GPU power connector was not firmly attached and if only one of the sense pins disconnected then this would occur.
