My computer build will not power up

I just got a computer and assembled it while wearing a static discharge bracelet and now when I try to turn it on it won't and there are no lights or sounds at all please this is my first time and I really don't know what to do!

umm... is the power supply turned on? many power supplys have a switch on the back. also, make sure the outlet works.....

1.) Check if the power supply is turned on

2.) If it's plugged in to a power strip make sure that's on

3.) Make sure your 24-pin cable is connected to motherboard

4.) Make sure everything is plugged in. QUADRUPLE CHECK.

Is the voltage set to the specific place in which you live? On the back of the power supply there should (maybe) be a little red sliding switch and if that isn't set to the correct voltage (120 in america the other in EU). Also, make sure all of the 20+4 pins are plugged in ALL of the way. Also the CPU Pins help.

no man, so switches, it's usually automatic in modern power supplys

right now its plugged into cpu by 8 pin motherboard by 24 pin and ssd by sata power :( yes all of the obvious things abouve have been taken into account. my psu is xfx 1050w gold so idk if they usually come doa or something but im thinking the psu is the problem here

alsoc would it matter if I;m using the integrated hd 4000 on my 3770k?

um, most likely you fucked up wiring your power / reset button.

if your mb has a power swwitch on the pcb, try that. if not make sure its the correct wiring.

it the right wiring checked it many times and ive even tested it to see if the manuel was wrong too by switching them around, no luck :(

That zero force CPU could have gotten you...Don't try the .001 force method. Sucks for you...Hopfully, you should get it fixed.

^That was f'd up.

Whenif all else fails, take it apart and put it back together gain. Double check all your parts for damage. Take it slow, if it still don't work, try your power supply on another computer. Maybe you got  a DOA somewhere..

Thanks everyone after reassmbling my whole pc apparently i forgot to connect my cpu fan header and that was why it wasn't working. i take credit, first DIY nooby mistake
