My 1000$ Build (Includes Monitor + Windows 8)

Hey, this marks my first post on tek syndicate. I've been building PCs for a little over a year now, for family and such, but I feel it's time for me to build myself one now.I just wanted something decently priced that could play any game I wanted at high or ultra, while being able to fit in a Micro ATX case.

The only questions I have are a few

  • Should I be able to run ENB on this for Skyrim on 1080p?
  • Should I run most games on at least high settings with a minimum of 2x anti-aliasing?

I realize this is a really low end CPU compared the the GPU, but I'm not going to be running many CPU intensive software applications, so I figured this should do nicely. Everything else is completely changeable. I am going to be doing some overclocking on the CPU.

If you're no doing anything CPU intensive, this build looks great. And may i suggest the fractal design define mini/ corsair obsidian 350D/ Coolermaster N200? All of these are great MATX cases, and are much better, in my opinion, then the line M. Happy Building!

Definitely will look into those. Appreciate the feedback.

Still wondering if this will play Skyrim maxed out, with ENB on. I want around 40ish or better. Does anybody have the answers?

best I could come up with I changed a few things to what I think is better.  I read that the 7870 is good for a decent amount of mods on skyrim and ENB at 1080p.  270x =OC 7870

Looks pretty good.  I had an HD 7850 and it performed quite well.  The R9 270X/HD 7870 is very nice for the price as well.
