Well I’m not new to using them I just got my first one personally. It’s a Samsung Galaxy J3. Are there any security apps for safer web browsing or anything else I should have?

Block internet access from everything except whitelisted apps and services, and allow some apps connect only when the screen is on.
I have been using AVAST anti virus for Android.
It was highly rated in a comparison test last year. I also like the app killer feature. The only downside is click bait. It presents all of these options that look like they are part of the anti-virus app, but it actually installs another app. Not that those apps are bad, it was just a surprise.
The only other apps I use on a regular basis are Sky Map and 3D Bowling.
