Music from your area you'd like to spread; Come and explore/share

This thread is meant to be a place for the adventurous music lovers who like to explore and share lesser known artists from around the world.
It's meant to be a little more easy to filter than the 'What are you currently listening to' threads.

The rules:

  • All forum rules apply.
  • The definition of 'your area' really depends, as a guideline I would say keep it limited to a distance you would travel to go to a concert or live show.
  • Shameless self promotion is allowed. If you feel confident about your music and want opinions, why not?
  • No genre restrictions shall be applied.

How to post:

  • Include a tag like this [GENRE,GENERALAREA,AREA(optional)], for every link, where GENRE should not be super specific and GENERALAREA could be your country/state and AREA the district/city. This should give readers an easy option to filter.
  • Always provide a link, no "I really like 'thatband'!" posts, as 'thatband' might not be a unique identifier.
  • If you want to give more info, do it.

Have fun

I'll start:

Kinetical MC, Ruffian Rugged, General Levy: 7am Cypher (pt1,pt2);
[Dancehall/Rap/Ragga,Austria]

General Levy though is from the UK and very well known, as far as I know. Kinetical MC does some MCing at various Jungle/DnB/Dancehall events and has done some projects e.g.: Head Top Miners. Ruffian Rugged (lots of AKAs) is i think a well respected Rapper in the Austrian scene (but don't quote me on that, I don't listen to rap/hip hop).
The specific track is a recorded aftershow freestyle session of sort.

I hope this thread takes off, I've had a bit of a drought of good music lately.

As for artist, I know this super-okay guy who lives a whopping 0cm away from me.
[Industrial/Industrial Electronic-rock, Personal]

(all of it is free, but you can type in a larger amount than 0 if you want to be cool...)

This is the first full album I released under the "Nephilim Novel" name. It is not available for download off my bandcamp, but thanks to CrossCarbon here on the forums, I got my lazy act together and compiled a download link and put it on Mediafire:

if you like it you should PM me and tell me...if you really like it, you should go to my bandcamp and purchase any random track to help out the starving artist.

care to add a tag? maybe [Indie Rock,North Carolina] ?

done, sorry mate.

np, there are not a lot of other examples.. yet :)
but the sounds are nice, and I like what has come so far.

Telesterion
[Rock / Alt Rock / Folk Rock | Seattle, WA]

Or embeds won't work, that's cool too. Links it is.

Safia
[Electronic/Indie pop | Canberra, Australia]

Not a style I usually enjoy, but the music is chilled & has a real positive vibe. The also have fantastic music videos.

They just released their first album late last year.

I wish I had bands to add but haven't went to a local concert in forever...

Great idea for a thread like @Alamar said

[Indie rock/post rock | Ireland (belfast UK technically)]

As an aside, what the fuck have genres become? This is getting out of hand, I had to look this up, to me this is just a form of rock/prog. Genres have fast become the most useless classification of music as I cannot under stand what people are saying any more.
