Music and Agile?

Greetings and salutations.

I used to spend hours on various sites checking out new music but have lost track of new releases for the past few years. I listen to music of the heavier slant (Dillinger Escape Plan, Misery Signals, Architects, Strapping Young Lad, Darkthrone, Ulver, Burzum, WITTR, Mike Patton, NIN etc) and would love some recommendations from the tek on what I should give a listen.

Also, and unrelated, what does Wendell think of the various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc) and their usage in tech circles. Are you a proponent or a certain style of thinking? How do you approach a larger scale project in planning stages? Any insight you could give would be fantastic.

Thank you kindly.

EDIT: this is being submitted under the assumption this is where you post for possible questions to be answered in the INBOX.EXE vids on the youtubes. If not, please let me know 'cause I can't none interenets good.

the 2nd question is really good. Im interested in this, too.

And what would happen, if a band would use project management methodologies to make their music?

What is it that you like about the bands you listed?

the193rd; I'm sure the albums would all be different to their predecessor and take more and more people to write each time. lol

Pawmaniac; thanks for the recommendations. I know some of them and they were nice reminders to go listen to them. Some new stuff too which is cool.

Beheeemoth; I guess I like complexity and a newness to music. Whether it's atmospheric, or percussive or speed (SYL) I like to chuck on an album and it feel foreign and not easily digestible. A lot of the dudes I listed have had that effect for me.

For black metal have a listen to Drudkh's The Blood in Our Wells album.

How do you manage to put two so different subjects into one post? Impressive. On the SDLC topic, as far as I've been able to tell, waterfall is on its way out.  Even megacorps are implementing some sort of agile for most of their new projects.

Haha, Thanks!

From my end (Business Analyst/Test Analyst, depending on the day) we're seeing similar with Waterfall. But I'm in Australia so I'm interested to see how the rest of the world is moving. I'm not a real IT person, and would love to hear Wendell's (or Qain's for that matter) opinions.
