Multi Layered Music

In the live Inbox video on the channel, Logan mentioned he likes music with "five different songs" going on at once. I for one would love to hear the theory behind that. Myself, I make music in Reason 7 and I try to make hypnotic melodies that go on forever and would love to see Logan make a video about how he would go about doing that. Maybe it's just me.

I like hip-hop so I appreciate a simple beat, but I also appreciate complex music. I would love a video about music software, personally I use FL Studio just as a hobbie sometimes.

yes FL Studio can do some incredible things .... and can make some of the most annoying crap ever  ... just ask to hear some of my comilations     lol

Yeah lol a lot of professionals use FL Studio but theres also people like me that have no clue that use it.

What kind of music are your compilations?

i though cubase and reason were like the best ones right now.

There isn't such a thing as a "best one" when referring to a DAW. It's a silly argument some people like to make to make them feel like their use of a DAW qualifies them as some sort of superior group. You know what the DAW is for? Making music. It's a tool to make music, and just that. Whether you use FL studio, Samplitude, Cubase, Abelton, Sonar, Studio One, Reaper, Mixcraft, Logic, or Reason they are all designed for one thing in mind. The best thing to do is pick whichever you find most comfortable. Like for me, I use Mixcraft, which is often considered the "toy" of DAWs. Yes, well I've heard people with a list of "professional" tools make stuff that is objectively of lower quality than what I can make with my supposed "toy".
