Multi input hdmi to multi ouput hdmi switch

Hey guys I’m looking for a hdmis splitter with 2 inputs and 2 outputs. I recently updated my pc area and now I have a ps4, and a switch. I wanted to be able to switch which of my displays the consoles outputted to without having to unplug the cable from the monitor. I could only find this https://www.amazon.com/HD-202-Splitter-2-input-2-output-Supports/dp/B00F25H5FQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1518640050&sr=1-3&keywords=2x2+hdmi+splitter#customerReviews. Was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for one?

If both your monitors have two HDMI ports, then all you need is two simple splitters.

The other idea I have will result in cable clutter and I am not certain if it works:

Another option would be an HDMI capture card and then put the console output whereever you like.

The really professional solution involves blowing 2k on a video mixer, and that is not worth it.

You want a HDMI matrix switcher

I have seen one of those boxes in natura. IIRC the technician said arround 5000€ for the model at hand and it tends to break down after two years.

My good friend from college is one of their engineers. I’d love to know what model and what type of use the frequently breaking equipment gets.

Switches between Beamer, TV, Notebook, PC and two others in the lecture halls at my university.
Then again, the cabinets are on the very unsuitable side for running any electronics more powerful than a Pi in there…

Thanks for all the help. I decided to buy a 2x2 matrix switch from monoprice. Here’s hoping everything works out great!
