MSI Z77 Mpower, Asus Z77 Sabertooth, or suggested alternative?

So I'm making the move from AMD to intel (finally, I know) and I would like to know what I should go for or what you guys think. I'll be throwing an I5 3570K in there and yes, there will be overclocking.
Your 2 cents would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know much about the 2, but sabertooth seem to be very popular. I'd pick the Sabertooth

right now it seems that asrock z77 extream 4 is the best motherboard for the money right now and it has almost all the features of the sabertooth for a lower price

also pc part picker is a great website for finding great deals

i have the mpower z77 its anawesome board no problems with it at all newest bios has ironed the previous ones out perfect6ly and finaly it looks so dammn sexy cant say enough good stuff about it.

That's the board I've really been leaning toward. It's just so packed full of great features. Thanks for the reply.

I also own a Z77 MPower board and I can't say one bad thing about it. It comes with WiFi and bluetooth and it's cheaper than the Sabertooth.

If your PC will have a windowed side panel, the MPower won't look like you screwed a trash bin lid on top of your motherboard.

i found my complaint! the wifi on the mpoower seems to over heat and cut out. dosent matter to me beacuse i use the ethernet but i noticed when i went to a freinds for a week and had to use the wifi. other than that its really is superb

I use ethernet too but I also use the WiFi as a hotspot for my phone and tablet. I never had it cut out, even when viewing a 1h40min youtube vid on my tablet.

5 year warranty on the sabertooth, anything Asus really is good, they have high quality parts and good quality control, they also have USAP USB 3.0 which is better than the "fake" USB 3 other companies use

fake usb3? dafaq is that? explain why companies use 20 pin headers already?

normal usb3 is almost as fast as sata3...

Wonderful, I am quite content on this board now. 99% sure it's the board I'm going for.

http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/the_best_usb3_experience/The_UASP_For_USB3.0.htm

has a nice little graphic that should explain

Well the Mpower is handtested for 24 hours with an overclocked CPU running Prime 95. Each board is put through that. It basically guarantees no DOA and MSI manufactures all of their own parts so that's another win. And the speed with the ASUS will only give you marginally better speed. It is faster, but not to the point that its groundbreaking

I got my Z77 MPower with 5 years warranty. Does it not have that in North America??

The UASP USB 3.0 is a plus, but if you don't have external HDD's it's irrelevant. "Normal" or "fake" USB 3.0 is more than ok for copying stuff to and from your 16GB flash drive (most of which can't handle the speeds of UASP). And if you had an external HDD, wouldn't you hook that baby up straight into your wireless router??

have a sabertooth, love it, but the asrock and the msi are still very good z77 boards. if ur trying to save some cash grab the asrock z77 if you wants the TUF military standard parts (mosfets, chokes n caps) plus ISRT (intel smart response tech) for option of using SSD as cache for improved performance... yea go sabertooth, but all mfctrs have alot of the same options so look at specs and suggestions here and then just go with what fits you best.

Why not a Maximus V Formula?

I'm not sure what the Maximus Formula brings to the table in addition to the Sabertooth. Besides the higher price...
