So I just got a MSI GTX 770, my PSU has 2x 6+2 connector's, currently I have both 6+2 plugged into my PSU which is then plugged into the card as 8pins, is this fine and safe. My PSU is the Coolermaster 600w silent pro gold
I don't see why it's not. As long as all 8 of the 6+2 pins are connected to the power supply, it should be fine whether you're using 6 pin or 8 pins on the card.
Yeah they're connected, 2 6+2 pin cables connected to the PSU then to the GPU as 8 pins. It means more cables but I want to avoid the adapters that come with it
