Sweet baby Jesus on a toddler pogo stick, that's a lot of horsepower in such a small package. I still don't like gaming laptops, but that is as thin as a supermodel on meth.

Was probably sent it

Yes, it was sent to us. @acceptableinthe80s

Wait, was that in the video? Don't remember it being mentioned...doesn't it need to be mentioned upfront for legal junk?

This video is not sponsored. Those agreements are made in the email exchanges leading up to the product being sent. Every time a video has been specifically sponsored (usually involving money and a deadline) Logan has stated it as such. Logan has also denied sponsors in the past who would only agree to sponsoring if Logan said what they wanted him to say, and he only believes in giving an honest opinion of said product/software/what-have-you.

Had bad experience with MSi notebooks, will not buy any MSi notebook again.
I like myself the heavy duty HP elitebooks and the light Lenovo Thinkpads.

I've moved the posts to the new topic... which seems to be the correctly linked one.. maybe wendellbot had temporary memory loss.

It's gaining self-awareness. ̿'̿'\̵͇̿̿\з=( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)=ε/̵͇̿̿/'̿̿ ̿ ̿ ̿ ̿ ̿

Pretty much what @Pistol said. There's a difference between being given something and being paid to review something a certain way. (From what I understand)

I like some of these kind of laptops, the thing that always stops me is some of the features are basically software drivers that are windows only so I kind of lose out if I was to put Linux on it.

Great review but it needs more wendell.

I wish someone would give me a $2000 gaming machine.

The like/dislike bar was removed from this video. :P

The Thinkpads are not even Thinkpads anymore. They are made by Lenovo not IBM.

And that is a problem because of what?
I still like the Thinkpads for what they are.

These MSI's are nearly $3000 in Australia, I'd still purchase one dependant on a price-reduction.

They are more like macbooks. Not thinkpads. I don't know if you ever typed on a thinkpad when it was actually owned by IBM. But it was a better typing experience.

Typing this on my workplace thinkpad. It is okay, I guess?
I like the HP elitebook keyboards better, but there is a little price difference.
Best keyboard experience I had so far has been with a Trust GXT280 (rubber dome).

Sweet Baby Flying Spaghetti Monster that's thin.
My laptop has a 8GB GTX 980. I wonder how much of a bump did the 1060 get.

Yup saw that too, actually it was the first thing I checked. Then I turned the video off, not fun watcwatching some fuckup everything you like and then be bouncy and jolly about his new laptop.

I know this was discussed above but I was watching Paul's Hardware build a PC and it was different from his listed build and made up of mostly corsair parts, this was not a sponsored video somehow even though they gave him all the parts free and even pre street release. I know there is a difference between script money review and here is a thing for free no strings attached but the reality is that is still sponsorship.

No free lunches, somebody is getting something out of this. Technically legal but still feels really dirty and shady.
