I bought this board. Does anyone know if it will need a bios flash for a Ryzen 5 or will the CPU work out of the box? just wondering thanks
Should work out of the box considering that it is basically the same silicon that it was designed to work with originally (the R7 series), but you should update the bios anyway. The bios updates are important for Ryzen.

Should work out of the box yep.
But as soon as you have everything working, then i would recommend to update the bios regardless.

I will update the bios lol i was just worried i would have to have a ryzen 7 to flash the bios for the r5 to boot but its cool now thanks
