MSI 970A-G46 vs. Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0

I'm building a new PC with one of these two motherboards.

Processor: AMD FX-8350
Graphics card: Sapphire HD 7870
Memory: (About 8GB - 16GB) What ever you recommend (I was thinking about getting Mushkin Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600)

What do you think about these boards, do you think that some other board would fit better (for around the same price)?

Note: I'm not going wild with the overclocking

AM3+ Mobos from MSI are some of the worst crap you can buy avoid them all....

MSI gave a notice out a cuple of years ago that that mobo can't handle a FX8350 at stock (this used to be listed on there site)
