MS SP3 backup before replacement suggestions

So, my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 w/ Windows 10 has a smashed screen. I had to disable the touchscreen, but the keyboard and touchpad still works, and the screen is still readable. Fortunately I have full insurance, so it will be replaced.

Before I take it in, I'd like to fully backup or image it, which are things I've never actually done before. the SP3 is a sealed unit so the drive cannot be removed or accessed. What is a fast/easy/cheap way to image my system so that when I get the replacement I can just load it back up like nothing ever happened?

I've got about 128GB on the disk (it's basically full).

If you have a Microsoft account and Office 365 you could dump your files to Onedrive and pull them down or alternatively use another cloud service - google drive is cheap for 100Gb of space. You can use an app like Boxcrypter to place them into an encrypted folder.

Else, a USB drive and robocopy will get the job done. http://2clickfix.com/practical-robocopy-examples/

Once you have all your files off then use the 'reset this PC with remove everything' option before returning it.

NOTE: Microsoft say the reset your PC will securely wipe your files. If you want to be sure you might want to use some third party software to securely erase them before running that.
