Well, good. I don't personally care either way, but good.
So now Sony is ahead by stagnating, and Microsoft is in second place by moving it's status up from skullf*cking their customers, to stagnating as well. Nice job.
Funny how those features were absolutely required in order for the system to wrok. Oh wait.

Im still not getting the xbox one. Remember DRM was a must this gen, according to Microsoft. I will not be surprised if they slowly implement all this crap through out this gen. If they really cared about the consumers they would've announced this shit at E3 and not days after the fact. I laughed at them trying to justify all this non-sense at E3 then turn around and do this. I bet the fanboys are going to act like Microsoft is doing us a favor after trying to justify all these restrictions through out E3.
Now we have proof that there is at least one employee at Microsoft that does not have the IQ of a small rodent.
Now it just need's to be $200 and delivered by danceing girl's bearing free beer then i will think about buying one.

To be honest, Microsoft just showed themselves as weaklings, and by that I mean, they made Sony more dominant than them, Xbox 360 was dominate in the multiplayer aspect but now Sony might still get the ball here, and why is that, because I think a lot of Xbox fans or lovers, or whatever you wanna call them, was hurt from the start, a lot of Xbox fans from my friends list said and hope that Microsoft wouldn't do the whole DRM stuff but what did they do, butt fuck their fans hard, and now they turn around saying that they are too afraid of Sony winning this next-gen "console war" I mean to be honest Microsoft might of been able to get a little bit less or the same profit as Sony , but still, I am not going to get an Xbox One even though I've never owned an Xbox console in my life before, the reason for this is because maybe Microsoft might bring the DRM stuff later in the years, and hell they still have the kinect stuff on it, and also $100 more than the PS4 , and that's only because it comes with the Kinect which requires the Xbox One to run with. I rather get a PS4 than an Xbox One, Sony might do the same thing later on but hell, at least I didn't get butt fucked more than twice by the same company
Oh I'm sure Sony AND MS had a deal with publishers, Sony just went and backed out on it. Also I'm pretty sure that MS was already trying to back out of this before E3, that's why there were no round table press conference and they flat out refused to answer any questions about DRM(At least in a manner that actually gave you an answer). I really doubt this is something they just thought, oh hey let's switch it off, they already saw the disaster coming since the unveil, E3 just made it all that much worse.
But since very few people have the ability to remember more than what happened 2 weeks ago I'm sure by the time this launches in 6 months time no one remembers jack about this shitstorm.
DRM was for me the tip of the iceberg on the media snafu. Kinect to me is still a gimmic and I don't want it. I don't watch traditional TV. I stream everything. The HW specs are wieghted toward Sony with the ram. Not as Indy friendly compared to Sony. Codecs too. I'd rather play all my movies/shows/music/games off a pc in my living room. Sorry M$ you're a day late and a dollar short for me still. To me its still a shitstorm of shit in your face. In and around your face.
I get this impression that M$ seems to think we are stupid and don't know how to work our electronics.
