I want to move my components from the Phanteks Enthoo Pro case and put them into a mid tower. I'm looking for cases with front intakes and NO side window. So any suggestions would help.
Fractal Design Arc Midi R2: http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/discontinued-products/arc-midi-r2-solid-side-panel.
It does have that awkward looking space for a 120mm fan though. I have the windowed version. Best case I've ever owned by far.
How much space is there to work with in the case?
A lot for a mid tower. Fractal Design doesn't screw around. Look up some YouTube reviews to get a better feel of it. Cable management is also a breeze and it's so easy to clean.
As owner of Midi R2 I can say it is really great case. If you like the Phanteks style, Enthoo Pro M is amazing choice IMHO...
If you really don't want the side window... Hm... You are making this difficult... Define R5/R4 probably with extra fans...
Front - 2x140, bottom - 1x140, back - 1x140, roof, 2+1x140... You have 140 exhaust. You can fit any air cooler on, 2x280 rads no problem... The hard drive cage can be mounted on 6 different places in the case and you have 2 extra ssd mounts behind the motherboard tray..
Fractal Design. Ta da.
See I looked at the Define R4/R5, I can't get over that front door ever time I see it I just want to break it off. As for Enthoo Pro M that side window is a no go for me until they give me the solid side panel. And I know I'm not making this easy.
You have 140 exhaust.
I have so many 140 fans that I bought 2 years back it's not even funny that's all I own beside the two 200mm led red fans
My point was, that the case is spacious. You can put a lot of hardware inside.
It does indeed. I just discovered Carbide Series SPEC Cases those don't look so bad either
Sure. Just be sure to check reviews to see what you can do with them. I like Fractal Design because they know how to make every inch of space count.
The looks of their products look very professional. I might just buy the Define R5 but I'll just have to break/remove the front door off
You can remove the door on the R5 AFAIK. I think it has an option to make the door open from left or right depending on your preference.
Yeah I just saw that from the their video on the case
Check out the cooler master silencio series especially the 650 and 652s.

My favorite case of all time is the Antec 302
But this is a nice case too and cheap!

I wouldn't want an Arc Midi because of that ugly and annoying side intake. You can check out CM Master Case 5 with solid panels and corsair 230T.
Most of the cases on the market are solid panel + door or window panel + open front unfortunately.
