Moving Files

I have a quick question, can I drag files from my SSD to my HDD without "harming" anything? For example, if I were to drag the Program Files and Program Files x86 folders into my HDD (they are in my solid state drive at the moment) would it harm anything? Or could I do it with no problem? Here's a screenshot (C: is the SSD and E: is the hard drive disk)

In short, the answer is probably no. If your goal is to take all of the programs installed on your HDD and move them to your SSD, then you should probably go about actually uninstalling them, and reinstalling them on the SSD from scratch.

The reason is because when you install a program, there are usually many references created about where it is installed to not only by the program itself, but also by Windows for record keeping and uninstall. So while some programs may work fine after moving them, others will probably break completely, or give many 'File not found' errors.
