Moving files from C: SSD to D: HDD

I notice that some programs that you download and install force themself on the C: drive and does not give me an option for downloading it on the D: drive. is it something i can do so by default programs gets downloaded and installed on the D: drive.

I notice that my EzVid capture files get stored on the C: SSD i have.
How do you safely move programs from C: to D:?

My computer is very new, i have noticed that my PC takes half a second longer to boot, So i was wondering. Is SSD becoming slower over time just something that happens to all SSD's?

Go with an advanced install: If you can, then select a different directory

Just yesterday I responded to this exact question. That thread is still at the top of page one. I don't know how you missed it.
