alright so my stinger stopped working and i can't find them anywhere of course like anyone else so i will just give another company a try. I narrowed it down to the g5 and death adder i know logan has both so maybe he'll have some good advice..i'm not too worried about the dpi both have enough for me i just want a really good comfortable gaming mouse thats easy on the eyes.
the rubber was nice on the stinger so maybe the death adder?
well if u like the feel of the stinger, then get the g5. Also the stingers are bak in stock now on their site. Its just soooo perfect timing for me that i bought a lachesis two days before the stock came bak...:@!!!
well i turned my computer on one morning and the cursor flew to the corner (top left) so i just unplugged it and plugged it back in thinking you never know ..anyways samething. thought maybe it was my mouse surface? even though it had worked before ..that didn't work ..tried 2 other computers one of them running vista (as if that would matter) same thing .. emailed cyber snipa they told me it was a rare defect and back to tiger it went ..that was about a month ago i was hoping they would come in stock..so Logan which one did you like better even though you liked both? i think the death adder does look better but is it more comfortable than the g5?
i personally prefer the feel of the logitech mouses, how it has the..dimple? or dip/lip on the left side of the mouse. but if you have a local computer store ask if they have the mouses and if you could feel them, because in the end it's all really about how the mouse feels in YOUR hand.
i'm just too use of the G5 laser engine. hard to get use to anything else. the shape of the Deathadder is nice but the palm area is too low for me. if they can just make it more "round" like the G5 would be perfect.
just imagine them cutting away the back half of the DeathAdder and replacing it with the other half of the G5. kinda fuse them together and give it all the black rubber stuff and Voila!
mm i can't decide i hear good things about both..the g5 has horizontal scrolling and a bit more dpi but the black rubber on the death adder looks like it would fit like a glove. Logan what mouse did you use while you thought your stinger was broken?
i own the G5 and i gotta say that you should go with the deathadder...its more comfortable and you'll have a nice exp with it...if u want a small paw mouse..the G5's gonna feel a little fat in your hand if thats the case.
I decided to go with the Death Adder and it is a really great mouse..for me it may be more comfortable than the stinger but i would definitely recommend the stinger over it too bad mine broke cause you can't find them anymore barely.
I own both, but I use deathadder for gaming and g5 for regular use... The only problem that I had with deathadder was updating my firmware... I had to use my Vista 32 bit just to update the freaking firmware. If you have 64bit then you have to use your xp pc or vista 32bit computer to update your fw.
Does anyone know if I can plug my mice to the built-in usb port on g15 for gaming. Am I going to get some lag if I use it.

That fusion sounds to me like the cyber snipa stinger...
lol just dont get the razer diamondback 3G. it's so fricken small and i cant use it for more then 30 minutes ingame without having to stretch my wrist and crap. i ordered a logitech g5 to go along with my logitech g15 keyboard, and i thought the weights were a pretty cool feature
the deathadder is a great mouse for gaming. Its excellent with a destructor mousepad. Logitech g5 is great for overall tasks like professional stuff. so basic rule of thumb is go with razer for gaming and logitech for more balanced performance
