I've been having an issue where when I'm holding down keys on my laptop keyboard it doesn't recognize LMB or RMB. It has done this for the trackpad and 2 different USB mice. This is very annoying when planing games. For it to recognize the clicks you have to spam them.
try controlpanel>mouse>pointers> uncheck hide mouse while typing or try turning off these settings disable trackpad while typing or palm detection.
I have hide pointer while typing off. There isn't an option for disable trackpad while typing or palm detection.
check what software your laptop is using for your trackpad its not always in the mouse section maybe synaptics software
Unfortunately the touchpad software does not have any options that will affect anything.
