Im going to be getting some M-Audio AV-30s and i was wondering if there was any solution to mount them to one of my monitors. I have a monitor setup similar to JayzTwoCent’s setup. I wanna mount the speakers to my top 20 inch monitor, any ideas?
That is going to be a pretty hard thing to pull off, honestly. They are pretty big, and unless you have a relatively thick monitor, then the amount of area that you have to be able to mount it to is relatively small. You oculd try something like velcro, but I doubt that would hold terribly well. It might do the trick though. If you can take the monitor apart, you may be able to drill holes which would allow a much sturdier mounting scheme.
I was thinking about making some sort of plate that they can sit on, and mount it to my monitor mount rather than the monitor itself, but thats a good idea that may work.
I think it'd honestly be wiser to rig up your own monitor stand. This will allow you to mount your monitors in better positions -- and why not mount your speakers on it too?
