MotherBoard

Hey Guys,

I am currently in the process of doing a budget build PC and I was recomended certain hardware for this build by people on this site.

The build consists of an AMD FX-6300 processor, Raedeon 7850 gpu, and then all the other normal stuff.

However, the motherboard in which i was meant to be getting has been discontinued from the site that i am buying everything from. The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-970A-D3.

I would like to know what mother board to get in replacement for that. I dont mind going a little bit more expensive, but anything over and extra 50 dollars will be too much.

Thanks in advance!

this is the new version of that board, whats the total price you want to spend on the board?, are are you saying $50 is your limit?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ar6s or this kind of board?

Hey, thankyou for the fast reply. I should have been more specific with my price, haha, the original board was like, 150 from the site i was buying it from.

I have that board. Be glad you didnt get it.  My ram won't run at full speed, some of the VRMs dont have a heatsink, and the ones that do still get too hot.

save yourself trouble and get an asus board, what's your total budget?

I would like to keep the price of the motherboard around $130-150. I have no clue what to look for in motherboards as they are all the same.. The only thing I really understand is ATX, and socket size..

Asus M5A99Fx pro R2.0 6+2 powerphase and digi vrm is a great mobo, also  you have some upgrade path's in the future.
