So this is a fairly minor issue that I've been having since I've started using temperature monitoring software. There seems to be a temperature sensor on my Motherboard that has gone haywire, showing ridiculous temperatures such as 128 Degrees Celsius.
This is quite obviously false as I get the exact same reading when my PC is both at idle and when I'm rendering or Gaming and the other two sensors are showing far more reasonable temperatures (At the moment sensor 1 is showing 55 degrees Celsius and sensor 2 is showing 40 degrees Celsius).
Does this suggest that a part of the motherboard is damaged, or is there a loose wire? Or is it simply a Software/Firmware fault? The problem isn't serious at all however, all that happens is that when I install a program such as Cam or similar they nag at me saying my motherboard is at a critical temperature.
