Motherboard/RAM Compatability

I've never built a computer before, and I'd like to know if F2A85-M PRO Motherboard

(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009F1DTLM/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B009F1DTLM&linkCode=as2&tag=teksyndealzon-20)

is compatable with 16 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM

Yes, those Ram Sticks together with that motherboard should work...

If you look at the list of supported memory (you can find those lists for every motherboard in the Support Section of the motherboard`s product page at asus.com) :
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketFM2/F2A85-V_PRO/FM2_Memory_QVL_4DIMM.pdf

the table of qualified and tested Ram for this Mainboard shows, on page 4 of the document, contains the Corsair CMZ32GX3M4X1600C10 Kit...
since that Kit contains the same sticks of RAM as the CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10 kit, this configuration should be working just fine!

oh, by the way: what processor would you use with that combo?

I'm a bit new, but I'm trying to save money on components. I would use an AMD A10 6800k processor. I don't know if the processor is good enough for 16 GB of RAM, as I'm kinda new here. Thanks for the help, though.

okay, if you are concerned about the price, then i would like to ask these questions:
why did you pick that motherboard? there are many other motherboards for fm2 at prices between 70 and 90$...
and why do you think you need 16GB of RAM? for most applications and Games, even with an APU that uses part of the RAM for the graphics processing, 8GB of RAM will be enough, which will save you a lot of money...

please tell us about the things you want to do with your new build and what your budget is...

regards, Julian
