Since Cyber Monday is tomorrow, I'm going through my parts list to see if there is anything I should change. The motherboard I have in my parts list is the Gigabyte GA-990FXA UD3 ATX AM3+ because I'm doing a black/silver theme in my build.
Recently, I've been seeing a lot of people neglecting that board and saying so-and-so should get the Asus M5A99FX PRO ATX AM3+ board instead. I was curious to why that is. On Newegg, the Gigabyte board has over 1000 reviews and it's rated 4 out of 5 stars while the Asus board only has a mere 200 and it's rated 4 out of 5 stars. Wouldn't I want to go with the board that has the most reviews and the best rating?
*I will be overclocking an 8320 with a Hyper 212 EVO*
I'm open to suggestions.
