Im having trouble deciding what motherboard I should choose I plan on over clocking a i5 3570k to about 4.5 so I want one that will handle that. These are the ones I have been looking at.
As rock z77-pro 3
MSI z77 G45
gigabyte GA-H77-D3H
As rock extreme 4 z77
if anyone has any better options around the same price range just let me know.
The Asrock extreme 4 has the best powerphase design of those boards. 8+4 powerphase. so i would personaly choose for that one, if you not have more money to spend.
if you do have more to spend, and you want a decent overclocking board that can handle everything, then i would recommend the Msi Z77 Mpower $199 i know its a bit more expensive, but this is realy a great board it has 16 powerphase, and also wifi and bluetooth onboard, and they also come handtested out of fabrick, they do a overclock on a i7 or i5 to 4.7ghz and let run prime for 24H on it.

grtz Angel ☺
so do you think the as rock extreme 4 will handle a 4.5 over clock
i think it will ☺ i didnt read bad reviews about it, till now
I use the MSI Mpower Z77 motherboard , it's very nice. The overclocking is a doddle , I can get to 4.7Ghz with my i5 3570k (I use a full watercooled loop with 3 radiators and push/pull fans though). The Power phase is good , so your overclocks will be more stable than other boards. It also has a very nice built in wifi and bluetooth ability , the built in wifi beats a wifi card I bought for £60! Overall , I'd get the Mpower as MisteryAngel suggested , costs a little bit more but the performance is great.
MSI z77 G45 or the Asrock is what would go for. Getting your 3570k to 4.5 is not so much about the board (since all those z77 boards should hit that easily enough.. maybe the h77 will have trouble). Its the cooling method that you intend on using that will be the determining factor in your overclocking success. Ivy chips get hot rather quickly even with a little voltage increase.
