Motherboard and CPU cooler not compatible?

I'm trying to install my PH TC14PE on a m5a99fx pro r2.0 and it doesn't seem to fit. It should fit according to people I've asked...

 

The two strip adapters don't line up with the holes in the board. Unless I'm doing this all wrong, the only way is either to screw the screws in at an angle, or drill into the board itself.

You use the wrong installation methode. the AMD installation is realy easy. just screw those 2 brackets on , and then you can mounth the cooler.

you need those other ones, the one you use is for intel.
