Motherboard 12v ATX connector issues

Hi,

I have recently decided to build myself a computer as I have helped my friends build a computer. I am getting all my parts from 2 sources, 1 of which have already arrived. I decided to 'dry fit' my ASRock 990FX K1ller motherboard with my Thermaltake Toughpower Gold 850W PSU (semi-modular). the 24 pin connector fits fine but I am eventually going to overclock so I checked the pins of the 8 pin 12v connector, but the shapes are different.

Is this a problem or can I just ignore it and place the 'faulty' connector in the same fashion as the one that works.

Thanks,

Luke

could you please post the model number of the psu, would like to help trouble shoot.

never seen a 4+4 PCI-e power connector

It is usually 6+2.  You're right, that's weird.

That's a 4+4 EPS/ATX.  Should be fine. Nothing faulty with it
