I will be using the AMD 8350 cpu but I'm not sure what board I should get
1. Sabertooth 990?
2. Crosshair Formula Z
3. M5A99FX R 2.0
Well all 3 boards are good choices. i would go with the Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 or if you can find the Sabertooth gen3 with pci-e 3.0 for a reasonable price, then look at that one.

It also depends on what you plan to do. If you are looking for a high overclock, then the sabertooth or crosshair. If you are looking for a moderate overclock, go with the M5A99FX R 2.0.
The PCIe 3.0 is pointless, seeing as the Vishera chips don't even support PCIe 2.0 at a hardware level, so the PLX chip, or whatever other voodoo magic they use to simulate the PCIe 3.0 lanes isn't worth it.
