Why is nobody recommending this card? For $255 you can get the EVGA ACX version which is SUPER NICE, I just got mine in yesterday, with Splinter Cell: Blacklist for free. Sure, you can get a 7950 for around $275, but it's gonna be a piss poor card as far as quality goes. I didn't think I was going to like Precision X or GPU Boost 2.0 but it turns out that I love it already. My card boosts up to 1337MHz on the core (really lol) with just bumping up the power slider. I haven't messed with the memory clock yet though, not sure if I even will. This card runs super cool and quieter than my MSI Twin Frozr 7850 did which is damn hard to beat. As far as gaming performance goes, I've been playing BF3 on Ultra Textures with everything else set to high and I have only noticed two below 60fps dips, and that was on the two laggiest maps in the game, Gulf of Oman and Seine Crossing. If you want to know the rest of my specs check my profile.
The Precision X software sure is nice. I love it :)
Also, back down on your GPU core, boy. You're dangerously close to where I have my 680 :|
It's ok, I'm not going to beat you lol. I can't really overvolt :( It only lets me go up 12mv.
Try using MSI Afterburner, and enable "unofficial overclocking" in the config file for full voltage control, withing the 1.21V limit.
What would be the highest voltage you would shoot for? I'm not going for anything too extreme here.
Depends on your OC. I keep it around 1.15V for 1.4gHz.
How the hell is that stable?
Also, it only lets me add 12mv wtf?
