MORE Issues with my Internet after Windows 10 update

Guess what boys and girls, I'm having EVEN MORE issues with my Internet connection after the latest "Creators Update"! I know this is is a Windows issue because I have no issues with my Internet while booted in Kali.
Now I would switch completely to Kali, but I use programs that are Windows exclusive for work.

I've tried switching from a switch to a straight connection, I've tried updating the drivers, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, I've tried setting up QoS on my router, and setting priority for my system. I've even called my ISP, JUST TO MAKE SURE it was system side. I looked at the router logs and noticed DoS attacks, and blocked the ip addresses respectively, but I'm still experiencing network interruptions. None of the other devices on my network are having problems, so I feel thats even more reason to believe it's system side. I was thinking of switching back to Windows 7 only to discover that Microsoft is stopping support for them some time soon.

I'm stumped... This has been happening with my PC every time I try to give windows 10 a shot. It's come to the point where I can't stay connected to game servers for more than 15 minutes, and uploads to the FotoFusion could are halted and massive amounts of progress are lost. I need anything... Something. Please help.

Thanks in advance,
Jamison Adams

So what brand is your network card then?

I advise using Wireshark to capture packets and try and figure out what's happening on the lower levels of the network stack when your connection drops. Also check the event viewer for possible errors. Since this issue is OS related, the driver is a likely culprit. Find your NIC brand and look for an alternative driver. Post your NIC brand and driver version and we can help. Good luck!

The Nic is an on-board Intel based. I belive the Intel I211 driver version V20.2.4001.0

Have you checked your network setting in Windows 10 to see if your duplex mode is set to full duplex or auto. If Windows 10 is running in half duplex mode it could be causing the problems you are describing if I understand the problems you are having.

Turns out, I am having this issue Linux-side. It might be the cables that I am using or my ISP after all. I have never had an issue like this before until memorial day, so it might be that something chewed up a wire, or that the wiring is just old. I'll update if I resolve the issue.

It could be the cabling it really be anything. Please update if you find anymore information.
