More applications, more ram?

When I use my computer, I use multiple programs at the same time, such as a game client which is supported on 32 bit. playing music, having a broswer running and writing some documents.

 

Would it be better to have a 64 bit OS in that case or 32 bit?

 

(p.s dont ask me about ram etc because I havent build anything yet, this is hypothetical question which will determine the way I am going to build this system)

rams the whole point of 32/64 bit, unless this system will not use any serious programs or you wont be playing current games on it go 64 bit to utilise more ram

windows 32 depending on what one you get youll only be able to use 2-4g of ram plus less features ect, that is enough for what you have described tho
