Monitoring Hardware

I'm looking for a way to monitor the various pieces of hardware in my system like open hardware monitor. I found lm-sensors and it shows some information but does not show info like open hardware monitor. It seems to only show info and not how that sensor relates to the CPU, GPU or other. I think I can figure out the fan data, but the temp info is a little confusing.

all of the temp data given

temp1: +45.0°C (low = +127.0°C, high = +127.0°C) sensor = thermistor
temp2: +57.0°C (low = +127.0°C, high = +127.0°C) sensor = thermal diode
temp3: +53.0°C (low = +127.0°C, high = +127.0°C) sensor = thermistor

This is what I do. Asus ROG connect.

Normally lmsensors will show what is.the CPU case mobo etc. Have you run sensors-detect

Yes I have it would not show anything until I did.

I've monitored since i started using linux mint my core temps have been running a little higher and my CPU ide is at a higher percentage.
