Any and all suggestions for a monitor to purchase. Primarily for myself, gaming from skyrim to indie titles and emulators, though it will be used for by my better half for video editing (premier pro, after effects) and some photoshop too! all responses much appreciated, as the sooner i can decide on a monitor and get some feedback about my proposed build the sooner i can get it all together!
Thanks guys!
i have an asus 27" led, and i love it. theres been some good deals online lately so shop around good luck
If you're looking for a 1440p monitor, the cheap Korean brands are the goto these days. It's merely a choice of whether or not you want LG IPS or Samsung PLS and the bezel. I personally have the X-Stars, but I've heard good things about the Qnix, Shimian, Crossover, and Catleap.
I initially swayed towards the xstar due to the opinions shared by the video on here, then found myself in a world of 1080p monitors boasting 120/144hz and 1/2ms response times, along with multiple suggestions to go down a pro art route of monitors and became quickly lost :(
im just looking for the best compromise where both I will be happy gaming and it will still work well for photo editing and such, if the Korean monitors hit the sweetspot between the two then I'm more than happy to go down that route , thanks for taking time to reply too, I appreciate it
