So I'm currently using a 27" Apple Cinema Display as my monitor and as great as it is, since its 2560x1440, I think it's a little too big for me to really play games on. My system has no problem powering this monitor but I would really love to use a 24" monitor instead, just because after long sessions of game playing, my eyes start to get tired quicker. Do any of you guys think its a good idea to go down to a 24" display instead? If so, could anyone suggest some top quality ones? I really don't have too much of a budget, just as long as its not something absurd.
Really any of the Dell Ultrasharp 1080p and 1200p 24" monitors are great. Asus makes some great IPS 24"s as well, such as the Asus PA249Q. Lots of options; will you be selling the Apple display? I am interested :)
Well, if your system could push 1440p, what about a 144/120hz Asus monitor. I think the 144hz model number is VG24QE or something like that. 120hz is extremely fluid, and I would highly recommend it.
EDIT: Its VG248QE. I knew i was close.
I'm probably going to be giving it to my sister since she actually might have a use for it. Either that, or I'll just keep it around for media purposes.
