I have never understood how a 1ms response time is any better than a 5ms response time. Say that you have a 60Hz monitor. The screen will refresh every 17 ms, if your game is running at 60 fps. I guess that some monitor refreshes will have missed what was sent to it but most of the time wont it be the same?
