Is this a good deal, also I can't tell if this is an IPS display or not.

I can't tell either. But that mega infinite dynamic contrast ratio makes me cringe - what does that even mean!? Mega infinite... SMH...
Anyway, it does have wide viewing angles, decent response time, decent contrast ratio, so, at least on paper, it should have a good picture. What kills me though is the "infinite" contrast ratio, because it has a LED backlight, which means the black pixels have some light, which means blacks aren't 100% black. It's probably really good, but the marketing is nonsensical, which kinda kills my confidence. Also, my TN monitor claims a vertical viewing angle of 160 degrees, but the color shift is very noticeable with even the slightest tilt, so I'm not sure how much credibility viewing angle spec has.
Basically, if you want a good monitor, it's best to check it out in person at a local store, or, if you can't do that, purchase a monitor that's well known and has a reputation of being good. Buying a lesser known monitor, over the internet, with nonsensical marketing, and misleading paper specs is a bit of a gamble to say the least.
Yeah that's what I was thinking, but I figured since it was a Samsung monitor it was probably decent. I was just wondering if anyone knew of it since it is such a good deal.
Doesn't say IPS anywhere I believe, but for around the same price you could get this AOC for 129:

used... no
@Streetguru, that is the monitor that I planned/most likely will get.
@overlordnick, it isn't used it is and open box, there is a difference, unless the seller is not being truthful about the terms they are using.
I'm positive Samsung panels are PLS and LG is IPS.
