My R9 290 will not detect my monitor through a DVI single link cable, no adapters, this has been a problem in windows 7 and 10.
Can only get the monitor to work in safe mode and in BIOS
Go into safe mode... go to device manager. Show hidden. Delete all gpus/graphics adapters.
Reboot into regular windows. Install drivers.
Tried it, ive even done fresh installs of windows and then drivers, didnt make a difference
