For some time now I've been looking around online for a second monitor. Right now I have a 27'' Benq GW2750HM which has served me well, absolutely no complaints. The only thing I'm unsure about is the size. For a single monitor, 27'' has been great. Although I feel that if I get another 27'' to use as a second monitor I will have to turn my head too far to see the second screen. I play a lot of WoW and would like to use the second monitor to watch videos while playing.I also have had worries of viewing angles with certain panels. The one I have is a VA, it seems to be fine but can anyone speak on behalf of others? All in all does anyone have a multi-monitor setup with 27'' monitors? Or does anyone use a 27'' as there primary monitor with a 24'' or 23'' as a secondary?

I kinda share your pondering on size for a second screen. I got myself a Benq GW2760HS and am in awe of this new breed of AV panels (improved angles over previous VA and no flicker backlight), but could use a second screen sometimes for quick looks at secondary stuff.
A second of the same would be lovely as far as image quality goes, but I would rarely have much use for something so big or good for that matter. So getting maybe a smallish 21,5" monitor with a vesa mount and put it above the current screen on a flexible arm would work best. In your case maybe it would be annoying watching video in such a position if you really would do that a lot. But for glancing at info or having the big map up in games like Battlefield 4 it should work pretty well.
At the same time I'm tempted to get a second GW2760HS because I'm so impressed by the current one. Since even at a smallish size I wouldn't want to get the cheapest TN panel but would kinda have to get another VA or some eIPS at least. Going to cheap would just make me unhappy in the end.
I guess it's also a question of how your desk setup fits viewing a second screen on the side. Like will it be comfortable enough to look in that other direction for long.
Edit: I didn't expect this, but I found out that there is a new 21,5" model (GW2265HM) that is also flicker free. That will be something to consider for me.
