Monitor Assistance!

So far I'm gaming on a Samsung TV I want to say around 32 inch, and I always get told how bad they are compared to monitors. Well...I was told once anyway. So I was looking into grabbing a gaming monitor that looks pretty good too. Would like for it to be 1080p please.

Thanks! The guy up above mentioned something about IPS monitors..? Should I look into that or just stick with what you've provided me with.

Whats the Main difference between IPS and LCD or LED or whatever? I'm not monitor savy. Thanks for the link.
