Modular PSUs - Using other PSU Cables?

So I was sent an HX850 from Corsair to do a build for them a while back, I am running an ASUS 660ti in it, only card. I have a bunch of cables left over, two of which are PCI-e 6 pins.

Now I am building a FTC/LTC rig, but with two cards, the Seasonic PSU I have only came with one (2x) PCIe 6 pin cables, which fill the needs of one GFX card, but I have two.

I looked at my remaining cabling from Corsair, they are blue tipped and say "TX/HX Series Only" and it has two removed pins on it's 8 pin connector, where the Seasonic cables only have one.

Will the Seasonic PSU work with these remaining cables? Guess It's not a big deal I can always order another cable later I guess but just really wanted to get both cards up and running tonight.

Thanks

Actually, Corsair's HX-PSUs under 1000W are manufactured by Seasonic.  So I would be pretty baffled if it didn't work!
