I was given a modular power supply from a friend who recent upgraded his computer, unfortunately his pcie cable was missing. Now I've scoured the internet to find a new one and I can't find one that is a for sure replacement.

Now I can't find the cable layout for the pcie and I'm thinking about buying this as it looks very similar

Maybe someone here knows the cable layout and can verify this will work or can at least point me in the right direction
Why not use a molex adaptor?
I am using the molex to power something else in my system and do not want to overload it
a 6 to 6 wont work as the connector is actually not same as a 6 pin unless you are willing to cut it in to individual wires and rearrange. pop open the inside, look at back of connector, it will say gnd (black) or +12(yellow) wire custom connector from that knowledge

also that psu will catch fire.
dont trust it for maybe more than 300w

Should be fine, but in all honesty that psu is really bad. Like to the point of what did you do to your friend for him to give you a fire hazard.
Well if I sent you a link to the power supply I have now you'd think it would make my computer to explode, but to the point I just need a higher wattage psu because I'm upgrading to a 8320 soon and my 400w psu won't cut it. If you have and other suggestions for a psu than link it, but if it's like 100$ I'm gonna pass
