I have a Azza SIRIUS mid tower case and I would like to find a way to reduce the vibrations of the hard drive in my build. Could I possibly just use some pieces of rubber and put them in-between the drive and the case? Or is there a better option?
a piece of rubber is your best option
I second mike. Use rubber cord or rubber band. Personally I also have harddrives suspended on pyramid acoustic foam because I ran out of space lol. The latter also works really well plus it helps deaden miscellaneous other noises from the pc.
rubber O-ring perhaps? and a few long bolts. (just not extra long)
Alrighty, I'll look into getting some rubber! Thanks guys!
