I heard that Venmo had access to the entire transaction history of the bank account that is used to make payments and that they mine/sell this data. I’m not sure if this is true, but I couldn’t find a good article on Venmo’s policies/practices.
Does anyone know of any good write ups on Venmo or this class of apps (mobile payments) in general?
