The Chinese market is unexplainably massive. I cannot describe what it is like to you. It is a completely different culture and process.

They make their own devices for their own market where the rest of the world large uses the same stuff as each other. Frequently you will find really high quality stuff from China that is way cheaper. Some cut corners but a lot don't. Smart phones are not as expensive to sell you you as they are so make. Stuff like the OnePlus and Asus Zenfone2 prove this pretty squarely. Both of those are world beating phones and they are half or.less in price than the main competitors from the likes of LG, Samsung, Sony...

I would say that this phone will be good, but the downside comes in lack of support. A lot of phones either market their upgrade/software support line and that is what sells it or the sell the ability to customise your phone with what ever custom firmware you like.

These cheap Chinese phones will largely not have either of those. It is a case of what you see being exactly what you get. Not always a bad thing at all but if you like either company support or custom ROMs this will not be the phone for you.

If however you like alternative tech and are okay taking a bit of a risk the yes by all means get one. I have contemplated it several times, but I have never upgraded from my first smart phone.
