Mixing GPUs - ok to mix brands but same RTX 3090?

Question - is it ok to mix brands of GPUs in a multi-GPU build? We need a second card in one of our Threadripper PRO builds but have been waiting a long time for new stock on the EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3. A few other brands have shown up and wondering if that’s ok to mix say an ASUS or MSI with the EVGA?

Yes it’s fine to mix them, as long as you’re not trying to use SLI/NvLink it’s fine (I’m just saying this since it’s a 3090 you have which still has “support” for it)

No SLI / NvLink needed - additional GPUs are just compute. Thanks!

You may noticed a difference in performance, but as long as you have no real-time critical tasks, you should be fine, big baller.
